Still open for business!  I just don't have as much free time as I once did.  I will gladly take orders, but please send them in at least 3 weeks before you would need them. 

With that said, here's what I've done lately.

And Addie is here now also!  She arrived on Friday, April 15.  Soon I will have her finished birth announcement with her real picture to show ya!

first things first

Sooo, I've been kind of busy because of a recent birthday party.  B turned 1 on April 16 and he had a  Kara worthy party!  Aside from the weather that day, all turned out extremely well.  I kept saying the preparation was like a wedding, but waaaay more fun. Amanda made the cutest cake and outfit for B.  Together we cut and pasted lots over a 3 night period, but I enjoyed every minute of it!  Please go check out Bishop's First Birthday here and here.

A little Lime!

This blog is not about my life.  Let's face it--who would want to read about my day to day?  But I would like to share with you about my weekend, just this once.  First to tell you, if you are ever in Huntsville, Alabama and would like to eat delicious food, try out Commerce Kitchen.  It was seriously delicious and VERY reasonably priced.  Word to the wise, you do need reservations, which we did not have, but they kindly accommodated a table of six-luckily we went to eat at 5:30 :)  Secondly, I was in Huntsville to see John Prine and Emmylou Harris with my husband, his best friend and wife, and my parents.  Random crowd, I know, but it was birthday trips for Dad and Henry, the bff.  We all had a most fantastic time!  The music was even better than we imagined! We ended up staying in the same hotel as Emmylou and John Prine!  AND saw/met them.  Emmylou is gorgeous and rolls her own ciggies.  John Prine is as cute as a button!  We saw/met most of their bands and had a beer with some of their roadies.  It was an awesome experience!  (We also met/hung out with some Chippendale dancers in the hotel lobby...completely different story and not nearly so cool). So thanks for taking the time to read a little anecdote about my life!  Order up!
